RIP Our Furry Baby, Peyton Amella

Our best friend was sent to "Doggie Heaven" yesterday, 10-22-2010. He was suffering from an Immune Deficiency Disorder which was attacking his nose and eyes. We made the hard decision to put him out of his sufferings and to go to his happy, fence-free place in the sky. Peyton would of been 10 years old on Nov.22. He was the best companion anyone could ask for. He was so gentle and kind to all he met and I'm sure he met a lot of people throughout the Southside of town. He was quite the explorer. No fence was too tall or too solid for him to manage his way out. No matter how many times he took off we always knew he would be back by dinner and sometimes would bring gifts. There are so many stories to tell that we need to write a book of The Adventures of Peyton. We miss our snuggler, golf-ball fetcher, fence breaker, jet ski rider, Arkansas River Rafter, and most of all our best friend! He will always be in our hearts and we will never forget him. Rest in Peace Peyton, Gavin said he will send you many of his balloons up in Heaven for you to play with and POP! Love, Mom, Dad, Gavin, Aiven and Cameron

6 Month Check-up and 3 year old Check-up

Aiven had her 6th Month Check-up 10/15/2010. She weighs in at 16lbs. 7 oz which is the 50% and her height is 26 1/4 inches which is the 50-75%. She is a healthy , happy 6 month old and developing right on schedule. She is now eating rice and oatmeal cereal, apples, prunes and bananas. She loves her peas, carrots and green beans! Aiven is quite the little eater just like her big brother Gavin. As you can see in the picture, she is fitting in his old Bronco jersey from when he was 6 months old. Gavin had his doctor appointment today also. He is off the charts. This kid is a big boy. His weight is 41 1/2 lbs which is above the 95th %, his height an head is off the charts over 100%. Dr. Carrol says if he continues to grow like this he will be about 6 feet 2 inches when he is older. He is around the developmental stage of a 4 year old which is great since he is talking so so much! He knows every word to "Boom Boom Pow" from the Black Eyed Peas and rocks out to it everytime we get in the car. Aiven gets a kick watching him sing!
