Our New Addition to the Family!

Meet Cinder Amella! She was born on September 23, 2010 in Del Norte Colorado. She is a black labrador. We weren't going to get a new pet for a while since the passing of our beloved Peyton. Poor Gavin just had a hard time dealing with the loss of his buddy. He kept asking and asking and didn't understand the idea of heaven. He thought Peyton went to Denver, since we said Peyton went Far, Far, Away. :( Well we are in the process of getting Gavin potty trained. He is going #1 all by himself without us asking if he has to go, he just goes on his own. Now #2 is the problem, he just has fears of sitting on the toilet. We have tried every bribe in the book to get him to go....until per his request...he wanted a new puppy. We didn't think a new puppy would make him go. Well as you can see it worked! We saw an add in the Chieftain and met the family of Cinder in Walsenburg. The family sent us photos of all there puppies. Cinder was 1 of 7 pups. She was the laid back of the seven. When we first brought her home all she wanted to do was sleep and eat. We thought she was going to be like the Lab from Funny Farm! She is much more active and very smart now. She can sit and shake and tells us when she has to go outside. She can never replace our Peyton but I am sure she will be a great addition and will grow up with Gavin and Aiven. As you can see from the pictures above they just love her!

My little Bumbo!

Aiven is now 7 months old on Nov.4th. She just loves her little Bumbo! She is not quite sitting all by herself yet but working on it. She rolls over both ways and is trying to crawl. She is quite the little clapper, Patty-Cakes is her favorite game to play. Here is a little picture of Aiven in her little Bumbo at Grandma and Papa Fred's house. I will post more pics here soon, we have been super busy and looking forward to a much needed Thanksgiving Break next week.

Happy Halloween!

This Halloween was so much fun! Having two kiddos to share the holidays with is the best! Gavin this year decided he wanted to dress as a golfer, who would of thought? He looked like a little "Payne Stewart." We took his picture next to his golf cart that he had to take with him Trick or Treating. He really dressed the part and was the highlight at my school's Halloween Parade. Actually we both were, I dressed up as an adult version of an old fashion golfer and looked just like Gav. Darn it I wish I had a picture to post!

Our little, almost 7 month old, Princess Aiven, was Snow White and really looked the part. She just smiled at everyone and really enjoyed the kids in their costumes. Next year will be really fun because she will be a year and half and walking and talking! Wow time is sure flying by!
