Aiven's Baptism

Our little Angel Aiven was baptized into the Catholic Community on 1/22/2011. Aiven's godparents were Uncle Russ Rodriguez and Aunt Angela Amella. Godmother Angie came early to dress Aiven before mass and Aiven was not in a good mood(as you can see from the photos above). She just wanted to drink her bottle and not be bothered. She finally cooperated and ended up looking so precious. Aiven did an amazing job throughout the mass and didn't even cry when Father Beto poured water in her eyeball and left ear. Gary let out more of a yelp then she did! Big Brother Gavin was so excited for his Baby Sister, he even came up on the alter to watch and splashed around a bit in the fountain! Now we need to make it a point to go to church every Sunday. The kids did a great job during mass, so we may not have to hang out in the back or in the crying room!

Aiven is 9 Months 1/4/2011

Our sweet little girl is 3 months away from turning 1 year old! Wow where is the time going? She is developing so quickly and amazing us each day. Her first word was "Hi" and second word was "Dadda," which Momma isn't too happy about! She can clap and do patty cakes, wave hello and good-bye and sing just A -B-C when singing the ABC's. Now she can sit up all by herself and roll over both ways but taking it easy when it comes to crawling. Hopefully she will be crawling soon, but not looking forward to her walking just quite yet. She loves to eat and has a bottom tooth peeking out.

This month we are baptizing Aiven. In the pictures above is her modeling her Christening dress, that her godmother Angie bought her. We are very excited to see how Aiven reacts when the water is poured on her head, hopefully she won't cry!

Gavin is still onry as every! I think he has outgrown is horrible 3's but still has his moments. He is our comedian, always making us laugh with the things he says. He just loves his"Baby Sister" and is very protective of her! He really hasn't had the opportunity due to the cold weather to hit golf balls but he is practicing in is playroom and working on his football skills with dad!
