Happy 1st Birthday Aiven

Our Little Princess is 1 year old on April 4, 2011! We had a Princess Frog themed birthday party for her since that is her favorite movie. She gets so excited and claps when the opening credits begin and just laughs and laughs when Tiana becomes a frog. The tables were decorated with bright pink table cloths with lily pads, frogs and princess Tiaras and of course Mardi Gras beads, since the movie was in New Orleans. We had meat and cheese trays, pasta salad, our favorite Cheese Dip, Fruit Skewers, cotton candy and Princess Frog Cupcakes. We had a great show of friends and family. Our princess enjoyed her first cupcake and demanded another one! Aiven did get to enjoy her own personal little cake on her actual birthday on Monday. Now on to planning Gavin's 4th Birthday coming up here in July. He wants a Circus Party....hmmm not sure how Gary is going to react to that one!

Our Crazy Gavin!

Well Gavin decided to grow his hair out into a mullet! Just kidding, but he probably would if it was up to him. He loves to make us laugh and is quite the little prankster. A funny story happened to Gary the other day at Lowes. Gary and Gavin were in the appliance and toilet section of the store pricing washer and dryers for Papa Fred. Gary was on the phone talking to Papa Fred and took his eye off of Gavin for a split second. He turns around and Gavin has his pants down near one of the display toilets and was climbing up it, he yells, "I have to poop Dad."Gary lets out his infamous scream and runs to grab Gavin before he drops a dukie ! This story will go down in the most embarassing stories and one we will probably mention to Gavin's girlfriend in the future.
